Metro Dance Academy Director
Keelie has spent her life immersed in dance, fitness and outdoor adventures. Through these endeavors, she has built a foundation of confidence and strength to influence other aspects of her life. Keelie hopes to instill these same qualities in her dance students. She started dancing at the age of two, and has trained in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, modern, lyrical and African. Keelie earned her degree at the University of Oregon in 2009, where she was a member of both the dance and cheer teams. Prior to U of O, Keelie danced for the University of Montana and Lake Oswego High School, where she was a captain for two years and led her team to two state championships. Keelie has thirteen years of teaching experience and is a certified Barre and spin instructor where she taught at Xtend Barre and currently teaches at StarCycle. Keelie has taught dance technique, jazz, tap, hip-hop, ballet, lyrical, contemporary and dance acro at multiple studios in the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, Keelie has choreographed for the University of Washington dance team as well as numerous High School teams in both Oregon and Washington. Keelie is thrilled to share her love of dance with the students and families of Metro Dance Academy.
