About the Dance Academy
Metro Dance Academy is a studio where the growth of dancers is our main focus. We strive to create a place where dancers will not only learn proper technique, but step outside the box to become true artists. Our talented staff paired with a positive studio environment makes Metro Dance Academy an elite studio.
With styles ranging from Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Tiny Dancer, Hip Hop, Acro, Contemporary and Technique classes, we’re sure to have a class just right for you!
Located inside Metro Gymnastics Center, our studio is the perfect fit for a busy family with multiple children and interests. Lots of families enjoy the “one-stop shop” under the umbrella of Metro.
Our Staff
Metro’s dance staff is carefully selected and they are continually improving their professionalism and personal dance growth through education and certification programs, seminars, and dance workshops. Metro Gymnastics Center provides staff training in a multitude of physical activities that will benefit your child throughout their lives. All Metro staff are required to be First Aid/CPR certified.
Our Mission
Since 1990 the staff of Metro Gymnastics Center has been influential in the general development of thousands of local children. The dance program reflects the foundations set by gymnastics as Metro Dance Academy is entering its eighth year and continues to be a place for all dancers to grow while being supported and inspired. We believe that the lessons these children have learned at Metro have helped make them the strong leader, outstanding athletes, and confident students they are. This is the core of the Metro Gymnastics Center’s Mission Statement:
