Dance Instructor

Lindsay started dancing at three years old at Mt. Hood Ballet Academy in Gresham, OR. She danced recreationally and competitively through middle school in ballet, jazz, tap and lyrical. She has danced in many studio performances including The Nutcracker and Coppelia. She attended Barlow High School and cheered on the cheerleading team throughout high school. She then studied marketing at Oregon State University and after graduation began a 10 year marketing career. For the past five years, she has been a stay-at-home mom to two children Ellery, 6 and Kayden, 4. Even though it's been over 20 years since she’s danced in a studio, it feels like it was just yesterday. Many of the techniques and disciplines learned through ballet and dance still play a part in her life today. In addition to being a dance instructor, Lindsay also manages the marketing and social media for Metro Dance Academy. Lindsay is so excited to join the Metro Dance Academy family and share her love of dance with all of our dancers!
