ORDER OF PERFORMANCE

We are celebrating the holiday season with our annual Snowflakes Winter Showcase! Join us on Saturday, December 21st at 11:00am at the Lake Oswego High School Auditorium. Our Snowflakes Winter Showcase is an opportunity for dancers to shine on stage for family and friends in a fun and lighthearted performance - the perfect way to kick off the holiday break!

Be sure to join us immediately after the show for our Holiday Cookie Bar, and a special holiday gift for each dancer.

Please have your dancer wear their costume, shoes, accessories, hair and makeup to class. Dancers will be practicing their routine in costume and parents/guardians may be invited into the studio to take a video. 

Please see your class's Costume Detail Sheet, linked below, for all required costume, shoes, accessories, hair and makeup information. Please note that some classes require you to purchase your costume and/or accessories on Amazon. See your Costume Detail Sheet for direct Amazon links.

Tickets:

Tickets are SOLD OUT. Please email danceatmetro@gmail.com with questions.

  • $15/adult

  • $10/child age 4-12

  • 3 and under (lap seat only) are free

  • Parking will be available in both the front and rear lots and overflow parking will be available at Lake Oswego Junior High School located across the street

  • You may enter through the front or rear entrance doors to enter the main lobby. Look for the teal balloons and and follow the signs to the auditorium 

Arrival & Dancer Instructions:

  • All participating dancers must check-in by 10:00am

  • Dancers must be checked in and out by a parent/guardian and will be escorted to and from the backstage area by a Metro Dance Academy staff member or volunteer.

  • For the safety of our dancers, parents/guardians WILL NOT be allowed in any of the backstage areas.

  • If you plan to leave the show after your dancer’s performance, dancers may be checked out at that time by a parent/guardian.

  • Your entire party may arrive at 10:00am to get in line for the door opening

  • Auditorium doors will open at 10:30am. There are two sets of double doors that will open, so please form two lines

  • Please have your electronic or printed ticket confirmation ready

  • Staff will start scanning tickets while you are waiting in line to help with a quick and smooth transition into the auditorium

After The Show:

  • At dancer check-out, please pick up your holiday gift

  • Our holiday cookie bar will be open immediately following the show in the auditorium lobby/hallway. Please help yourself to a yummy treat!

Costumes, Hair & Makeup:

  • Parents will be responsible for handling costume purchases directly. Your child’s instructor has carefully selected the costumes and provided detailed information on each item, either through a link or a description of what's needed—many of which might be items you already have at home! All costume details, including specifics on hair, makeup, shoes, costume pieces, and any accessories, will be listed on a Costume Detail Sheet for each class. Please note that parents are in charge of ordering or locating all required items for their dancer, so make sure to review the costume sheet thoroughly to prepare for your child’s class performances.
