We are celebrating the holiday season with our annual Snowflakes Winter Showcase! Join us on Saturday, December 21st at 11:00am at the Lake Oswego High School Auditorium. Our Snowflakes Winter Showcase is an opportunity for dancers to shine on stage for family and friends in a fun and lighthearted performance - the perfect way to kick off the holiday break!

Be sure to join us immediately after the show for our Holiday Cookie Bar, a special holiday gift for each dancer and a possible Santa sighting!

Participating Classes:

Please see the Participating Class List to see if your dancer’s class is included in this year performance.

Fees & Opt-Out:

  • All dancers performing in the show will be charged a $20 participation fee on 11/21, charged to your card on file.

  • Participation in the show is optional. To opt-out and avoid being charged the participation fee, please opt-out by 11/15. Email annettem@metrogymnastics.com to opt out. 

Tickets:

Online ticket sales will open Thursday, 11/21 at 12:00pm via tututix.com

  • $15/adult

  • $10/child age 4-12

  • 3 and under (lap seat only) are free

  • Parking will be available in both the front and rear lots and overflow parking will be available at Lake Oswego Junior High School located across the street

  • You may enter through the front or rear entrance doors to enter the main lobby. Look for the teal balloons and and follow the signs to the auditorium 

Arrival & Dancer Instructions:

  • All participating dancers must check-in by 10:00am

  • Dancers must be checked in and out by a parent/guardian and will be escorted to and from our get-ready room by a Metro Dance Academy staff member or volunteer.

  • For safety, dancers will remain in their “get-ready rooms”, the Black Box theater and the choir room for the duration of the show. Staff members and volunteers will be in the room to assist with costume changes and we will also provide entertainment for dancers before and after their performance time.

  • If you plan to leave the show after your dancer’s performance, dancers may be checked out at that time by a parent/guardian.

  • Your entire party may arrive at 10:00am to get in line for the door opening

  • Auditorium doors will open at 10:30am. There are two sets of double doors that will open, so please form two lines

  • Please have your electronic or printed ticket confirmation ready

  • Staff will start scanning tickets while you are waiting in line to help with a quick and smooth transition into the auditorium

  • If you need your ticket confirmation, please CLICK HERE and enter your email and last four digits of the credit card used to purchase the tickets

Photos & Videos:

  • There will be a designated photo/video area located in the center aisle, between the front and back sections, for you to get a good view of the stage and take photos and videos during your child's routine.  

After The Show:

  • At dancer check-out, please pick up your holiday gift bag, labeled with your dancer’s name

  • Our holiday cookie bar will be open immediately following the show in the auditorium lobby/hallway. Please help yourself to a yummy treat!

  • Stop by our festive photo-op stations for some cute photos/videos with your dancer

Costumes, Hair & Makeup:

  • Parents will be responsible for handling costume purchases directly. Your child’s instructor has carefully selected the costumes and provided detailed information on each item, either through a link or a description of what's needed—many of which might be items you already have at home! All costume details, including specifics on hair, makeup, shoes, costume pieces, and any accessories, will be listed on a Costume Detail Sheet for each class. Please note that parents are in charge of ordering or locating all required items for their dancer, so make sure to review the costume sheet thoroughly to prepare for your child’s class performances.
