Courtney Sprouse

Courtney Nicole Sprouse is a dancer, actress, and choreographer from Portland, Oregon. Courtney earned her B.A. in Dance with a minor in Theater Arts from Loyola Marymount University in 2019. She has studied in ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary techniques since the age of 7 and has performed across the United States as well as in Italy, France, the Netherlands, and England. She has worked with choreographers and artists such as Anouk Van Dijk, Lillian Barbeito, Ihsan Rustem, Philip Hulford, Yin Yue, Robert Dekkers, Rosalynde LeBlanc Loo, Maggie Gonzalez, Jason Myhre, Rebecca Lemme, Damon Rago, Kate Hutter, and more. She has performed works from companies such as the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane dance company, BODYTRAFFIC, and the Circus Project as well as participated in showings with works from the Hofesh Shechter Company and POST:Ballet. Courtney was a dancer in the feature length documentary D-MAN in the waters, which follows the rehearsal and performance process of the classic Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane dance company piece by the same name at LMU. Courtney is excited to continue working in the concert dance world, as well as continue her journey with dance through teaching and education.
