ENROLL NOW

Intro to Acro

Encompasses all of the fundamentals of acrobatics and tumbling, from backbends and handstands to cartwheels and forward rolls. Dancers will be taught how to properly go through each movement safely and effectively, building a foundation for higher-level acrobatics.

Acro I

Building upon the foundation from Intro to Acro, students learn how to start combining skills. Basic limbering is taught along with an introduction to faster tumbling skills such as running cartwheels and round-offs.

Acro II

Acrobatic skills begin to advance turning basic limbering into front and back walkovers. Tumbling skills increase as we begin to learn forward tumbling; front handsprings and running front walkovers.

Acro III

Dancers in this class have a better understanding of limbering skills along with walkovers; we then begin to connect these skills creating higher level acrobatic tricks. This includes scissor walkovers, specialty skills, and handwalking. Tumbling continues to advance laugh the introduction of one handed and no handed skills (I.e. Aerial cartwheel) backward tumbling is also begun in this level.

Acro IV

This class takes all of the skills dancers have worked on previously and takes them to a higher level. Dancers in this class have the ability to do forward and backward acrobatics on both sides of their body with proper form. Specialty skills increase as we continue to work on skills such as tinsicas and valdez. Tumbling skills are elevated as we continue to combine skills (such as round off back handspring back tuck), aerial walkovers and standing back tucks are begun at this level.
